Confirmation

Strengthened by the Holy Spirit

In Confirmation, the grace of Baptism is strengthened and the baptized are sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. The sacrament calls us to a more mature life of faith and to witness to Christ in the Church and in the world.

Preparation at St. Jude

Young people ordinarily prepare for Confirmation through our Faith Formation program. Adults who are baptized Catholics but still need Confirmation are normally accompanied through OCIA or another appropriate adult formation process.

• Youth and family registration is coordinated through the Faith Formation / CCD Office.
• Adults should contact the parish so we can determine the appropriate preparation path.
• Documentation and sponsor requirements are reviewed during registration.
