Gracia y paz a ustedes de parte de Dios, nuestro Padre, y del Señor Jesucristo. (Ef 1,2)
Me dirijo a ustedes con las mismas palabras con las que Pablo saluda a los efesios al predicarles el evangelio de Jesucristo, pues con esa misma alegría llego a esta comunidad de San Judas, lleno de agradecimiento y regocijo por la labor que me ha sido encomendada cumplir junto con ustedes.
Escribo estas líneas justo en el primer día de mi llegada a esta parroquia, deseando fervientemente poder encontrarlos y conocerlos personalmente.
Con lo que el padre Alberto me ha contado de ustedes, sé que amaré mucho esta comunidad, pues sé que son personas de fe y que colaboran activamente con la edificación del reino de Dios como miembros de esta comunidad parroquial.
Mi mayor deseo es que ustedes puedan encontrar en mi a un buen pastor, un hermano y un amigo, pues para eso Dios me llamó a este ministerio, para servir a todos y cada uno de ustedes que buscan en la Iglesia la buena noticia de nuestra salvación.
Oren por mí, pues esta misión sin oración es imposible de sobrellevar. Cuento con cada uno de ustedes y les invito a participar a todas nuestras actividades ya que esta comunidad es de todos.
Que Dios los bendiga y que la intercesión de María Santísima les haga abundar de gracia.

Grace and peace to you from God, our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph 1:2).
I address you with the same words with which Paul greets the Ephesians by preaching to them the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for with the same joy I come to this community of Saint Jude, full of gratitude and rejoicing for the mission that has been entrusted to me to accomplish together with you.
I write these lines just on the first day of my arrival in this parish, fervently wishing to meet you and know you personally.
With what Father Alberto has told me about you, I know that I will love this community very much, because I know that you are people of faith and that you actively collaborate in building up the kingdom of God as members of this parish community.
My greatest wish is that you may find in me a good shepherd, a brother and a friend, for that is why God called me to this ministry, to serve each and every one of you who seek the good news of our salvation in the Church.
Pray for me, for this mission without prayer is impossible to bear. I count on each one of you and I invite you to participate in all our activities because this community belongs to everyone.
May God bless you and may the intercession of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary make you abound of graces.
